Interdependence

God's Creations

In Room 1 we are looking after God's creation (trees and
plants) and are trying to help bees. We are also planting
native plants. We also planted some more flowers a few
days ago. I took some photos of the plants we planted.

We are learning about Tom Fedro's art.
I enjoyed mixing the colours.
I found it hard to  paint the background. This my art.

Mary MacKillop

Mary Mackillop

Mary Helen MacKillop was a Australian nun who has been declared a saint by the Catholic church. She was born in Melbourne. Her feast day is the 8 of August. She was born on the 15th of january 1842 and died   on the 8th of August 1909.She became a saint in 1995 after a woman prayed to her and said that her cancer disappeared.Pope Benedict XVI recognized MacKillop. She was recognized that October.

I found it hard to stand still while taking the photo.

Bees

We are learning about bees.
I enjoyed reading the facts about bees.
i found it hard to get the right size for the slide.

Winter

Today I was learning write descriptively.

I enjoyed brainstorming adjectives, juicy verbs, and specific nouns.

I found it challenging to use a simile and personification.

My digital learning object shows an image of winter.

Next time I would add similes.

Frosty freezing branches waved through the wind. Stiff
icy grass cracked as people walked pass. Grey cloudy sky groaned in the wind.
